Despite our lack of hue variation in the upcoming gallery, no one can deny Berg Pipe Mobile’s Christmas Party was lit.
Like Berg Pipe Panama City, our Mobile, Alabama location also has an an-yule Christmas Party.
We thought we didn’t have a theme for 2019, but it turns out it was a pigment of our imagination. We knew we couldn’t have a White Christmas, so we went for a Red one!

Berg Pipe Mobile’s annual Christmas Parties are the highlight of every year. Our Employee Activities Committee plans for months in advance, building on ideas and decorations and menus, music and giveaways and announcements, and making sure the night will be fun and memorable for everyone involved. Due to all of their hard work, our December 2019 event may have even been the best one yet!
This year’s event, as goes tradition, took place at the Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel and Spa’s Moonlight Ballroom on December 13th in Downtown Mobile. We had party games, huge giveaways, hundreds of attendees, and a lively dance floor! There was a holidays-themed photo booth where employees could walk away with polaroids in which coworkers and loved ones donned antlers or tiny party hats, along with many other fun props. Additionally, Mobile opted this year for a DJ. Panama City’s very-own DJ Owtkass traveled all the way to our Mobile location so the Berg Pipe parties could have similar boogie-worthy beats.

It is tradition to announce the respective Employee of the Year for each location at the holiday events. The Employee of the Year is chosen from the year’s Employee of the Month winners: employees who demonstrate excellence, teamwork, and dedication at Berg Pipe. For 2019, Berg Pipe Mobile’s Employee of the Year was Zachary Watts! Zach has been a valued employee at Berg Pipe Mobile for over 8 years, and continues to exhibit integrity, leadership, and teamwork.
As well as Employee of the Year, those with Perfect Attendance and the winner of the locations’ IDEA of the Year is announced. For the former, we would like to recognize Cheryl Johnson, who managed to hold the respective honor for Perfect Attendance for another year! This is an incredible display of integrity and responsibility, and Berg Pipe would like to thank Cheryl for her dedication. For our IDEA of the Year winner, we would like to thank Don Autrey for his excellent contribution to innovation at Berg Pipe.

As mentioned above, the Employee Activity Committee worked very hard on this event as well as many others hosted by BPM throughout 2019. We would like to recognize Don Baldwin, Cheryl Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Judson Meherg, Stephanie Bridges, Jennier Hink, Brittany Wilson, Gary Gilliard, Michelle Turk, Ryan Williams, and Clayton Davis for their hard work and everything they do to make these events possible.
Our Safety Committee also plays a very valuable role in the company. They assist in ensuring our employees have incident-free days and go home safely to their families at the end of their shifts, which is one of the most important roles in the company. Safety Committee members include Meagan Luna, Daniel Carter, David Coats, Alonzo Collier, Katelyn Bellard, Sevon King, DeAndre McDowell, Tim McConnell, Mario Steel-Norris, Andrew Carter, Daniel Olvera, and Vern Dillon. Thank you for your vigilance and commitment to Berg safety!
